BUILDING A STRONGER SCHOOL community

The Parents’ Association (PA) is a group of parent volunteers who wish to enhance the school experience for students, families and staff of St. Mary’s Academy. The PA organizes events, programs and extras for the school at large. The events are meant to bring the students, staff and families of St. Mary’s closer together to enhance the “family feeling” we have worked so hard to achieve. The PA also sponsors teacher wish lists to help add to the classroom learning experience. The annual PA Fall Fundraiser and family dues supply the funding for all our events and sponsorships. The PA works to help students experience fun at St. Mary’s Academy and create lasting memories that go “Beyond the Desk.”

Family Frolics (Halloween Party) - October

The Family Frolics chairperson and committee create transform the parking lot and lawn into an evening of costumes, games, treats, activities, and music from our favorite DJ for the students, family and staff of St. Mary’s Academy.  We kick the day off with an amazing decorate a pumpkin contest, students look forward to getting creative in their designs! 

Secret Santa Shopping - December

For two days in December the Parents’ Association creates a Holiday Store, where students can purchase inexpensive gifts for family and friends during the school day. Volunteer “elves” wrap the students’ gifts before they are taken home.

Catholic School Week

This is a wonderful week of celebrating the success and good news of Catholic education. We honor our dedicated teachers and revel in the outstanding quality of education for St. Marv’s students. We reflect on our blessings and give thanks to our community. The Parents’ Association sponsors a teacher appreciation luncheon and organize various activities for the students.

Ice Cream Social

The PA provides a Valentines Day Ice Cream social for the whole school.


Students enjoy the social time during school hours with their class.

Field Day

Field day is an awesome day celebrating the end of the school-year!! Students from all grades participate in a day of fun including games, bounce house, obstacle course, relay races, cool treats and more.
