Up-coming opportunities for Junior High students:

The Junior High students are invited to take part in the Fall drama production. We have a collaborative decision  about which play to perform this Fall. I have both scripts ready to go.

Auditions are September 3 (I just want to hear your voice). You will need to fill out the permission slip (both plays are listed there) and I have attached a mandatory rehearsal schedule. Please pay close attention to dates. If you are involved in sports, please know that coaches have been most generous allowing students to have the mandatory rehearsal time off if they know well in advance!

Thanks for such great behavior for our first dance! It certainly looked as if everyone had a good time! Thanks to Grades 7 and 8 for helping the Grade 6 students feel comfortable!

Salsa Night (September 26) is fast approaching. Anyone who wishes to volunteer should do so by Friday, September 19. We can form groups to manage the evening on the following Monday. You will stay through and eat dinner altogether on the 26th. I have some costumes to help make the night festive! The evening runs from 6-8 pm, so pick-up after clean-up should be about 8:30 pm. Please do not plan to leave early as that ensures more clean-up and a later night for everyone else!

Those students who have volunteered to attend Father CJ's Mass for the soldiers of WWII (Monday, September 8) should plan to stay through after school. That will ensure that students will not be entering the church late. We will offer supper before we walk over to the church. Students are required to  Mrs. Brodeur
